    ACHE Conference

Sunday, April 20, 2008, 07:36 AM PST [General]

The American Council of Hypnotist Examiners Annual Conference is May 1-4, 2008 in Glendale, CA. My colleague and I will be teaching a 6 hour workshop on spirituality and hypnosis:

    Thursday, April 1, 2:30 - 10:00 pm (with a dinner break)
This powerful training offers two different approaches to connecting to your spiritual guidance. Discover how to, in a completely unconditional and open manner, invite a person's spiritual aspect to come to the fore, to become more tangible and palpable in their life. Learn the power of ceremony and ritual, how to incorporate them into your life and help your clients do so as well.

Part 1: Cultivating the Spirit Within with Katherine Zimmerman; 2:30 - 5:30
Part 2: Spirit in Community with Gaye Wilson. 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

I am also presenting a 75 minute talk entitled, "Be Paid to Advertise Your Services by Teaching." Saturday, April 3 at 10:00 am.

For more details about the conference go to www.hypnotistexaminers.org

If you do attend the conference, please stop by my table in the exhibitor's room and introduce yourself!

I have gotten off to a great start for the new year with an article on hypnosis in the Sacramento Bee! You can read it here: http://www.sacbee.com/107/story/592809.html  The reporter, Alison apRoberts, did a great job. And since it was printed the phone just keeps ringing. People were still calling at 5:00 pm on New Years Eve!

I hired a publicist a few months ago and so far he's gotten me on the radio 3 times, on TV and now in the paper. The article in the paper has gotten the most attention. I'm booked solid for the first 3 weeks of January. Pretty exciting!

Thanks (belatedly) for the comment. I'm kinda liking firegoldhypnosis.com myself. I'm working on getting it up and running at this point. I've got most of the front page copy written and now need to get the graphics and layout finetuned.

Thanks for the comment. That's exactly what I was looking for. I do a similar thing much of the time myself; I like to make puns or make smart aleck remarks to get myself and the people around me laughing.

There are times, however, when we all need to be reminded of this. ;)

    Hi again
I had to chuckle at your yelling at your guides. I had a similar experience. There was something that I wanted to do that I had a vague feeling I should not do but I went ahead and did it anyway. Of course it turned out badly and I really became irritated and yelled atthat still small voice' "You've got to speak louder!!" Just a projection on my part. Trying to put the blame anywhere but on me.

    Hi Katherine
Maybe we are a small part of a burgeoning critical mass that will tip the balance and speed ourselves and others on the evolutionary path to enlightenment.I wish you every success in your new Spirit Circle. It sounds very shamanic to me. I think the time is right now for the opening of people to less dogmatic approaches to spiritual development and the attainment of more inclusivity. As we try to help others we move ourselves along too. (I've got to work on that ego thing). Namaste Kabala
